(RTTNews) – JinkoSolar Holding Co. Ltd. (JKS), a solar energy company, on Wednesday announced that Xiande Li has resigned as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
Wei “Dimi” Du will succeed Li as CEO, effective August 26.
Li will continue to serve as chairman of the board and chair of the compensation and nominating and corporate governance committees.
The company said Li’s resignation was not due to any disagreement with the company and does not expect the leadership change to materially affect its business operations.
Du has served as the company’s Vice President of strategic investment since April 2026 and previously held several strategic investment and chairman-assistant roles at the company and Jinko Power Technology.
In the pre-market trading, JinkoSolar is 3.91% lesser at $14.90 on the New York Stock Exchange.
